Description:
Our client is a leading provider of inventory management software to the manufacturing industry. They've grown dramatically in the last 5 years and have an immediate need to grow our technical infrastructure. They are located in the loop, and offer an opportunity to aggressively grow your career.
Their current need requires you to have a minimum of 3 years production experience with Windows 2003 Servers, strong Active Directory skills, and that you've worked professionally with Exchange 2003. You will be the primary Systems Administrator, so a high level of competence with these technologies is required. Plusses would include any experience with Blackberry devices, Symantec products, Sql-Server, and Linux servers. You will also have the ability to work with our Cisco engineer, so any Routing and Switching background is extremely helpful. They would also prefer that you have an MCSE.
You will be primarily responsible for implementing and supporting their Server infrastructure. The environment consists of 15 Win 2003 Servers, and they will be implementing a number of Linux servers to support a new version of their product.
While a majority of your time will be spent on the server and application environments, you will also be required to provide support to end-users on an 'as needed' basis.
