Description:
Our client based in Arlington, has a collection of owned and operated Web sites providing timely, in-depth, trusted medical information, personalized tools and resources, and connections to a vast community of leading experts and patients for people seeking to manage and improve their health. The company is currently looking for an IT Manager or Senior Network Administrator for their Rosslyn headquarters.
The ideal IT Manager or Senior Network Administrator will:
- Manage internal IT operations for 50+ person company with offices in NYC and Northern VA
- Manage relationships with IT vendors including Dell, Cisco, hosted VOIP phone provider, internet circuit providers, and various contractors
- Assist with managing Windows, Exchange, Blackberry, and Treo servers
- Assist with the management of Cisco ASA firewalls and a VPN tunnel between offices
- Put technology in place to ensure staff working from home offices are productive
- Analyze and recommend a monitoring solution for IT servers and network infrastructure
- Oversee IT purchasing for company
- Manage staff person responsible for desktop support
- Plan and execute office move; direct contractors involved in move process
- Must have strong interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated and self-directed
