Growing Philadelphia company seeks a Senior .NET Developer (C# or VB.NET) with the knowledge, motivation and energy to help build a more robust and flexible business logic core. If you're a .NET developer with strong programming skills and the desire to work on a variety of projects using the latest technologies, we'd like to meet you.

The primary Senior .NET Developer function will be to help plan, design, develop, test, debug, and deploy highly-available applications using the .NET Framework 2.0/3.0 and SQL Server technologies. An ideal candidate will be an extremely proficient .NET developer, and will be comfortable handling new challenges involving emerging technologies.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide a senior-level contribution to a team responsible for the design, development and implementation of critical business applications using the .NET Framework 2.0/3.0 and SQL Server technologies
- Work with traditional software lifecycle methodologies. Create design documents when and as required. Perform coding, debugging and testing.
- Define the integration between proposed development projects and existing systems, software and hardware
- Consider and research emerging technologies to improve current applications, architectures and processes
- Work in a collaborative development environment, providing assistance & technical guidance to less experienced team members


QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field
- 2+ years development experience with the Microsoft .NET platform, including C#, VB.NET, ADO.NET, and ASP.NET
- 5+ years experience with object oriented programming, including strong working knowledge and experience with UML and design patterns
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Systems integration experience with web services and .NET Remoting
- Exposure to all aspects of the software development lifecycle
