Description:
A local financial company seeks a senior Windows Engineer to maintain and upgrade their internal Windows 2003 environment. The majority of the work will be from home remotely. You will be working on a team of 9, where 80% of the work will be implementation and architecture of the Windows 2003 and VMware 3.0, 3.5 environment, the remaining work will be support of the existing network. Currently there are 600 plus servers with an addition 300 virtual servers running VMware 3.0 and 3.5
This division of the company is devoted to the growth of the internal Windows environment, but also the migration of acquired environments to the currents systems. The company has seen an annual 20 percent growth in revenue in the last four years.
The Senior Windows Engineer requires a strong knowledge of Active Directory, IIS, and SQL server 2005. Experience with VMware 3.0 and 3.5 are also a must have, a current MCSE or VCP is preferred.
A plus is any experience with any other OS's, Cisco and SAN.
