Description:
Our Client is looking to add a Senior Software Engineer in Test who is passionate about quality and has excellent test automation experience to join our crew in San Francisco. They're looking for someone with plenty of knowledge of QA methodology, testing techniques and approaches. You will be responsible for architecting our QA environment from ground up, own the testing of multiple functionality areas of our online properties and off-site tools from the definition of test plans to the implementation, reporting and automation of the testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES
* Create a test automation infrastructure and design the product-wide test methodology
* Create and maintain well-written test plans, test specifications and test reports.
* Design, develop and maintain test cases using PHPUnit or similar framework
* Execute some manual testing but focus on test automation.
* Mentor and work with QA manual testers who will execute manually your test plans.
* Work with developers to instill a strong unit-testing culture

QUALIFICATIONS

* 3+ years of enterprise testing experience, ideally testing web applications
* Experience with GUI automation tools (such as Selenium)
* Proficient in common scripting languages (such as Perl, PHP, Shell, Ruby)
* Experience with web load testing and stress testing methodology and tools
* Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL is preferred
* Experience with Javascript, XHTML and CSS preferred
* Previous startup experience and testing in an Agile development life cycle is preferred
* Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or other relevant field
